The CIPS course curriculum offers hands-on experience with five full days of study focusing on critical aspects of international transactions. From understanding cross-border contracts to navigating cultural nuances, these courses provide practical skills that enhance your ability to serve clients in a global context.
The goal is to provide an awareness and understanding of how the global economy impacts local real estate markets and to prepare real estate professionals to serve international clients as well as customers in their local markets. You must take this course before taking any other CIPS courses. Upon completion of this course, you will receive elective credit towards the ABR and CRS designation (applies to U.S. members only).
This course reviews the tools and concepts real estate professionals need to work with investor clients in the global real estate market. Learn how to research markets, convert metric measures, monitor currency trends, alert clients to tax and visa matters, analyze financial data for transactions and follow a process for compiling transaction information.
This course provides the tools and concepts real estate professionals need to serve clients and customers in the global real estate market. You will learn how to identify important laws, cultural norms, and geographic factors of various European markets that will help you facilitate successful real estate transactions. You will attend the first 2 Modules (Day 1 and 2) online, prior to the Trade Mission, with any of the designated Trainers, based on a predefined schedule. You will be informed after your Registration about your options.
Individual Classroom Courses
Attend in-person the remaining 3 Modules (Day 3, 4 and 5) sessions during the Trade Mission, on September 3,5 and 7, 2024.
