Today, after an early breakfast, we’ll depart from the capital, Bucharest, and journey towards some of Romania’s most picturesque sites.
Following a three-hour bus ride, our first stop is Peles Castle. Constructed in the 19th century under the direction of Carol I, Romania’s inaugural king, Peles Castle is renowned across the nation. Initially established as a hunting lodge and summer residence for the royal family, this castle is steeped in regal history. After exploring Peles Castle, enjoy a lunch in the charming town of Sinaia (note: drinks are not included), which is sure to captivate you with its tranquility and scenic beauty.
Next, we’ll continue to Brasov, our second stop. Nestled in the heart of Romania at the curve of the Carpathian Mountains, Brasov—or Kronstadt, known as the “Crown City”—is steeped in history and remains a beloved destination within Romania. Upon arrival, you will check into your accommodation and then have some free time to explore the iconic Brasov Old City at your leisure.
Pack your bags and grab a bite.
