Ed Eakin

Ed is a distinguished REALTOR® with twelve prestigious designations and certifications, such as the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS)—credentials achieved by only 3% of real estate professionals. Specializing in the purchase of second homes across México, Costa Rica, Honduras, Belize, Ecuador, and the Caymans, Ed collaborates with developers in areas like Riviera Maya, Cabo San Lucas, and Belize to introduce properties to the Texas market. An influential leader in his field, Ed has held various significant roles including Director at the National Association of Realtors (NAR), Texas REALTORS®, Metrotex Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals. He also contributed as a mentor in the NAR’s SPIRE program. In 2023, Ed was appointed as the NAR Global Ambassador to Belize, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago and began his tenure as a CIPS instructor. Residing in Las Colinas, Ed is a family man with children—Edward III, Ashley, and Sydney—who have forged successful careers in Texas. He relishes his time at the beach, playing golf at the Las Colinas Country Club, and engaging in weekly pickleball matches.
